Wearable Data Policy
A clear explanation of how Zorv will handle health data when you connect supported devices and services. We are working on bringing wearable integrations to Zorv — no integrations are currently available. No legalese — just the facts.
Effective date:
This policy is designed to meet platform API requirements, GDPR, and applicable data protection laws. It may be updated as integrations become available.
What devices will we connect to?
We are working on bringing support for major wearable devices and fitness platforms to Zorv. No integrations are currently available or approved. When integrations become available, we will connect only to the devices and services you explicitly authorise. This page will be updated as new devices and services are added. For updates on supported integrations as they become available, visit zorv.ai/integrations.
What health data will we access?
When you connect supported devices, we will only request the data we need to build your unified timeline and power your AI coach. Here’s the breakdown.
| Device | Data type | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Wearables (when available) | Heart rate, workouts, activity, sleep | Coaching and training load metrics in your unified timeline. |
| Fitness platforms (when available) | Activities, HR, training load, recovery | Unified timeline and AI recommendations. |
| Activity services (when available) | Activities, routes, volume | Complete picture for coaching insights. |
What we will NEVER do with your health data
Your health data is special-category data under GDPR (Article 9). When you connect devices, we will treat it that way.
Never sell your health data
We do not sell, rent, or license your health or fitness data to anyone.
Never share with advertisers
Your health data is never used for advertising or shared with ad networks.
Never use in aggregate datasets without anonymisation
Any aggregated insights are fully anonymised and cannot identify you.
Never share with your employer or insurance companies
We do not share your data with employers, insurers, or similar third parties.
Never share with research institutions without explicit consent
Research use would only happen with your clear, separate consent.
How long will we keep it?
When you connect supported devices, we will retain wearable and health data only as long as needed for your coaching experience and our legal obligations.
| Data type | Retention |
|---|---|
| Activity and workout data | 24 months (or until you delete your account). |
| Raw sync logs | 90 days. |
| Account and profile data | Until you request account deletion. |
| After account deletion request | 30-day grace period; permanent deletion within 60 days. Backups removed within 90 days. |
Who can see your data?
When you connect supported devices, access to your health data will be strictly limited.
You
When you have connected devices, you will have full access to your own data in the app. You can view, export, and delete it.
Our engineering team
Access is under strict controls and only when needed for support, security, or operations. All access is logged and auditable.
AI inference
When you connect devices, our AI will process your data only to power your personal coaching. It runs on your own data only and is not shared with other users or third parties.
Deleting your data
When you have connected integrations, you can remove your data at any time. Here’s how.
- Open your account or settings in the Zorv app.
- Disconnect each integration from the connections or integrations screen. This stops new data from being synced.
- Request account and data deletion via the account deletion option in settings, or by emailing privacy@zorv.ai.
- Confirmation and timeline — We will confirm your request and permanently delete your data within 60 days (after a 30-day grace period in case you change your mind). Backups are removed within 90 days.
When you have connected a service, you can also revoke access from that service’s own settings at any time.
